If you are playing on fullscreen, you can use ALT-Tab right? This is minimizing. If you go back to the game, it's the oppose of minimizing and thus maximizing. Indeed, 'restoring' is a better term for this but maximizing is correct.

If he was actually talking about windowed mode, you'd be correct: you can't enlarge windowed mode. But I'm sure Arran knows that, so I'm quite sure he's not talking about that.
