Description

Like #5975 and happening again.

I've been noticing it for a about a week now.

Anyone can reproduce this by opening dxscoreboard and watch FPS fall to about 10% of their normal FPS.

Make sure "Code Path" is set to "Default" and not "Alternate". (Settings -> Advanced).

i think it's not dxDrawText.. it's other colculations and actions

please, give some script with many dxDrawText texts and without other colculations

Note: I agree with FPS loss fact on 1.1 unstables.
But this FPS loss i saw and only with 1 "freeroam" resource started.
Sometimes FPS down on 50% and more.

Indeed, I commented all the dxDraws in dxscoreboard and it still caused a drop. I'll debug it some more and see what slows it down so much.

I can't find one where it was okay even the one just after that performance fix. Around that time I was compiling my own clients but stopped doing that a few days after and used the nightlies and the first one I tried (was r2575 I think) had this problem, sorry I can't be of much help.

This is also fixed in CustomBuild branch I tested normal and custom both the same ways and the FPS was:

normal branch: very jumpy 20-60 FPS
CustomBuild branch: 55-60 FPS

Seems fixed, haven't had any kind of FPS drop with dxscoreboard in about a week (with the normal trunk nightlies)
