Summary0005395: bind configurations are discarded on exit
Description

bg:

  • i have my d-pad/north assigned to 'keyboard y' via joypad software
  • in mta i have had 'y' bound to addupgrade 1010

issue:

  • 1.0.4 binds 'y' as chatbox: teamsay

  • i go to the settings menu and delete the bind for chatbox: teamsay

  • confirm settings and carry on playing

  • close mtasa neatly no crashes

  • load mtasa back up, chatbox: teamsay is bound to 'y' again

  • alternatively i bind chatbox: teamsay to 'u'

  • close and restart mtasa

  • the command is instanced twice in the settings:
    chatbox: teamsay 255 0 0 'u'
    chatbox: teamsay 255 0 0 'y'

this is reproduceable 100%
i have only tried it with this command, likely to of happened to others

this bug was not in 1.0.3

The first issue relates to a change in design. At least one bind must exist for the default commands. This rule is enforced by MTA at startup.

thanks for fixing

this new rule doesn't make sense to me, i don't use team chat period, so should be able to clear the bind to make room for other commands.

  • seems to cause more problems than it solves
